Suggestion: Multi-select items in the download area

Asked by Mikal Krogstad on 2009-02-02

Currently, it is not possible to multi-select items in the download area (queue) by ctrl/shift-clicking items. You might want this feature if you want to remove multiple items simultaneously. Admittedly, this does not happen often, but I also think this can be considered expected behaviour, and in line with functionality in other Gnome applications.

Hi Mikal,

I've been thinking about this as well and the idea is really good, because it's - like you said - an expected behaviour and doesn't clutter the interface or something like that. However, it might be quite hard to implement, but it's worth a try!

We intend to redesign the download queue anyway: Have a look at https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/lottanzb/+spec/download-treeview-overhaul . Feel free to add your ideas to the whiteboard!

Can you help with this problem?
