Can Lottanzb use RSS feeds available from NZB indexing providers?

Asked by Mike O'Donnell

Hello,

I am reading about Lottanzb and trying to learn about Usenet in general, to use in the future with Ubuntu, as I have never used Usenet.

Some NZB indexing providers provide in their paid services, RSS feeds. Is this a function, I could take advantage of in Lottanzb 0.6? If not, do you have plans for such for Lottanzb?

Thank you, for providing this easily understood front-end for Sabnzbd+.

Hi Mike,

At the moment this is only possible through the web interface of Sabnzbd+. You can access the web interface from 'menu'-->'file' in LottaNZB. There you can set up the RSS feeds in 'config'--> 'RSS'. You don't need to run the web interface after setting it up; Sabnzbd+ will automatically add the requested files from RSS and they will show up in LottaNZB.

We're planning to eventually add RSS feed configuration to LottaNZB, but this is a long term goal at the moment.
