Processing details when files are downloaded

Asked by Asdf

Dear LottaNzb Developers

It is more of a feature request or a checkup why this is not implemented.

When the downloading is done lottanzb says processing , and i have to check in a terminal with e.g. top to determine if it is either parring or extracting. (Maybe a parring/extracting progress bar?)

And when there is no disk space available to extract the rar file contents , lottanzb just says it is 'finished'.
There is no distinction between 'the parring was unsuccessful' , or 'There is no disk space left to extract'.
So a small failure report in the Gui ? or maybe gnome-notifications like rhythmbox uses?

Cheers , Asdf

Hi Asfg,

we're aware of this issue. The problem is that LottaNZB 0.5.x is based on HellaNZB, which doesn't provide such information. We're currently in the process of porting LottaNZB to SABnzbd. See [1] and [2] for more information.

That is, LottaNZB 0.6 will display much more information about downloads being post-processed. For example, you'll see if a download is currently being verified or extracted and even the precise percentage of files that have already been verified/extracted. Also, LottaNZB will make it clear if a download has been successful or not. In the latter case, a helpful error message will be provided.

Stay tuned!

Regards,
Severin
