jail break error when attempting to use smart server

Asked by Jelmer Vernooij

We're attempting to set up loggerhead for bitlbee (www.bitlbee.org), but the smart server passthrough doesn't appear to work right at the moment.

bzr: ERROR: Server sent an unexpected error: ('error', "An attempt to access a url outside the server jail was made: 'chroot-149773932:///'.")

I vaguely recall seeing this before, but I don't remember what triggered it. It's most definitely a bug of some sort. Does anybody have an idea what it is exactly?

It's traditionally been fixed by upgrading bzr. What version are you using?

We're using 2.0.3 (latest in Debian's backports). Should that be new enough?

Cheers,

What version of loggerhead? This sounds a bit like an issue that was fixed in r390.

A newer version of bzr apparently fixed it.
