Temporary files

I was trying to make a liveusb with your fine looking app. But it stopped, I soon realised I'd run out of space. The trouble was I couldn't find the temp files. After some fustration I found 2 directories /.disk and /casper, the trouble is they were in the root and normaly I wouldn't look there. Shouldn't they be in /tmp or some temp dir in /home/user? It would also be nice if your app checked if there is enough space.

No they should not be anywhere else as they contain the Live system. Please do not touch them. Consider not to use the "persistence" option.
