Asked by josefmagno

ok, i needed to help a friend that uses windows a his computer is full o virus, so much that his Cd reader doesn't work, so i told him about ubuntu, and how could it help him, he agreed.

so i found live usb, i followed the instructions a install in on my kingston data traveler 4Gb.

now the problem is over, but i need my USB back, when i use on a windows computer i says it has 600Mb.

so i need to "restore" the USB device, i want to make it have 4Gb again. how do i do?

You need to repartition and reformat the USB device. Since I have no Windows, I can't tell you how to do it in Windows, but in Linux, there's gparted.
