Store installed applications

Asked by 0time

Hi,

I have successfully created a bootable persistent usb using intrepid ibex cd and liveusb 1.0. I want to know what to do in order to keep applications that I have installed using apt-get. I read that this could be done by editing /cdrom/filesystem.squashfs... (this wasn't very clear) can someone specify how to get this going?,

Thanks

You'd need to master a squashfs file.
This is a general Ubuntu remastering question though and not specifically related to the liveusb tool.

By the way, "casper-snapshot" should be the easiest way to do this. Google for it.

Can you help with this problem?
