Takes too long to create...

Have I done something wrong or is it normal to take something like 24 hours to install Live Ubuntu on the USB stick (it's been twelve hours now, and it's about half way there)?

Update: It did indeed take some 22 hours, but it was completed successfully and works fine. So, all good...
