Encryption

Asked by Speedy on 2009-02-06

Hello, Scott!

I have a question about packet payloads encryption.

I'm trying to implement f1 live timing to my personal homepage, nothing fancy, only displaying top 10 pos. Fetching data from live-timing.formula1.com using PHP's cURL functions.

I red the PROTOCOL file where you describe the whole process. I understand everything except the encryption part -- I don't know how to implement payload decryption in PHP. Maybe there's already a Mcrypt decryption function in PHP I could use.
If you know answer to my question, could you please let me know. I add a link to list of Mcrypt functions for case when your are not PHP user: http://php.net/manual/en/book.mcrypt.php

As far as I know, it's a custom encryption used only by the F1 Live
Timing stream - you'd have to reimplement it in PHP.
