Im new to Robocup3d. I want to find how can I find that my robot is falled down or not?? please help me

hi. as i told im new to robocup 3d and i tryed robocup 2d for 4 years.
now im trying to make a new base for robocup 3d but i dont know how can i find the state of my robot that he is falled down or not.

some one told me you must use gyroscope but i dont know how can i analyse the datas from gyroscope.

please help me.
