Can not boot windoz XP after installing Linux Mint Felicia RC1

Asked by fayway

I installed Mint Felicia RC1 in dual boot with my previous windoz XP, this is not my first linux installation and I know what I'm doing...
For some days, I was able to boot on the two operating system, but lately, this is no more the case with windoz XP... I got a blue screen and windoz XP reboot over.. and over again without stop...
I know a person who had the same problem like mine and in he rather has a windoz vista...
Any idea about this ? may be is there a BUG somewhere when Mint Felicia mounted my C: hard drive ?
Thanks in advance

Multi-boot is part of our tests so in this case I would assume something is wrong with the Windows installation more than with the boot entry itself.

@fayway: You said it worked some days and suddenly Windows can't start up anymore. According to that i would second Clement's statement and add a guess:
-One of the most common reasons is that you installed some new hardware/driver (AutoUpdate?)
-or changed something in the BIOS, like your hdd's SATA behaviour (AHCI/ATA/...): Linux is sometimes able to cope with that, Windows definetly needs the new driver installed before changing that.

.... but this is by far OT :-)

You've right, it's certainly a windoz problem, I thought it was related to linux Mint cause it happened to me twice in two different laptops... I remember that I plugged the same USB Flash disk in the two laptops before installing Mint, so the two windoz were contaminated and lost before...
Sorry for all
