Circumvent proxy on linuxdcpp

Asked by Abhishek

My network is such that the DCPP will not work using proxy settings which I need to access the internet. I read somewhere that linuxdcpp will use the system proxy settings. Is there a way to circumvent the current proxy?

I don't think the Linuxdcpp uses system proxy settings, and if it does those are used only for hublist downloads. Overriding (if used, can't check atm) can be done by starting linuxdpp from terminal with 'http_proxy="" linuxdcpp' (without ')

SOCKS settings can be defined in the connection preferences.
