How to Continue Partial Downloads?

Asked by MMarking

Is there any way to continue a partially downloaded file by using an alternate source? I have a few files that didn't complete downloading, but if I "search for alternates" there are many other sources with the same TTH. If I start one of these downloads it just restarts at 0 instead of continuing. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe there are two ways to do it: automatically or manually. For automatically turn on "Automatically match queue for auto search hits" in preferences. To do it manually, right click the file in search results and "Download to" and choose the existing file in your queue. You can even set "Automatically search for alternative download locations" option to periodically search the hub for new sources on its own.

Thanks. I didn't notice the "download to" selection to choose the exiting file. I was just choosing "download" and the file had different file names but same TTH so it would just restart at 0.
