I want to help with russian translation. how can I do that? https://translations.launchpad.net/linuxdcpp it's useless.

We have not added full i18n support to linuxdcpp yet. Still need to upgrade to 0.705 core first. Also, we are still in the process of moving to launchpad.

I guess it's hard work adding _() for all messages. I can try to help you with it.

We already have most of the _() in place. We just need the new core and some scripts to invoke xgettext, etc.

The person that was working on the i18n branch gave up on the project because he thought it was a good idea to make a branch of an unstable branch that was itself branched off an unstable trunk. Needless to say it wasn't a good idea. I will be taking on the task of adding i18n support now. We will announce on our home page when we're ready to accept translations. Don't hold your breath waiting though.
