Cdrom request during installation

Asked by roberto cardoso laynes

Hi
I'm Installing linuxdcpp on my ubuntu 12.04. After the request if I want to continue the procedure told me:
"Cambio disco: inserire il disco chiamato
 "Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS _Precise Pangolin_ - Release i386 (20120817.3)"
nell'unità "/cdrom/" e premere Invio"

Why it asks me for a cdrom? How can I install linuxdcpp without cdrom?

Thanks

This is because your Ubuntu is not configured to use the internet for downloading new software. It has nothing to do with linuxdcpp, it will try to install every package from cdrom. You can change this in /etc/apt/sources.list or maybe ubuntu has a graphical interface for it. You must point to a new repository in your sources list.
