As already mentioned to you in bug #339700, that bug is already included in the latest PPA. If you're still having an issue, please file a bug and include the debugging details mentioned in our FAQ at

I can't make it crash. I don't understand the causing problem!!! It usually freezes when I try to rightclick "download to" but not any time I use the button. Sometimes it freezes when I try to switch the tabs with mouse. It never freezed during the "preferences" window is opened. Sometimes It freezes all the gui. Even if it freezed, the uploads and downloads doesn't stop, even if all the gui is freezed.

Should I start It with such modifiers and wait for a freeze even it happens in a week? Then repeat it again with gdb?

I have a problem...

If I use
1) ulimit -c unlimited
2) linuxdcpp 2>&1 | tee terminal_output.txt
the LDC works quicker and more stable than if I click the icon...
And I can't make it crash...

could you help me crash it?
I have already tried to "download to" more than 3000 files and switched tabs to crash it... No any reaction... It works properly, I think.

Now you're complaining that it's working properly? :D

Perhaps you have multiple installations installed and the icon points to an older installation. We've only recently provided a .desktop file and a .menu file. The one that comes with Ubuntu contains a hardcoded path and shouldn't be used. You can probably just manually update it to the correct path.

Can you help with this problem?
