Little Registry Cleaner and Malware

I downloaded Little Registry Cleaner and got a clocked trojan alert at my gateway after installing. Downloader.A_137 is a Trojan. A Trojan is a program that pretends to have a valid use, but in fact modifies the user's computer in malicious ways. Trojans do not replicate or spread to other computers.

I am also seeing InstallMonetizer traffic.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that Little Registry Cleaner is not a trojan and the software recommendations shown during the install are just recommendations and can be declined. If you do not want to endure the install process, you can use the portable edition of Little Registry Cleaner (https://getlittleapps.com/little-registry-cleaner/portable-edition-latest.zip) instead. There is also Little System Cleaner (https://getlittleapps.com/little-system-cleaner/), which contains the registry cleaner and does not have any install recommendations with it.
