Open minimized?

Is it possible to add an argument to the cli so that LightRead will start running, but not pop open...I'd love it to startup with my session, and just refresh to badge the icon with the number of unread items. Possible?

Could you please report this as a bug report. This way both you and the community can keep a track on the progress if this feature request is accepted by the developer. This might not be the answer you were looking forward to but this is to help everyone.
