Lightdm boot always in to last used session

Asked by Milos.dh on 2014-02-15

Hello
How configure my Lightdm to boot directly in to XBMC session? I changed /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf and it doesn't work. Lightdm boots always to last used session. I want boot alway to XBMC default session.

Thanks!

 /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
[SeatDefaults]
autologin-guest=false
autologin-user=htpc
autologin-user-timeout=0
autologin-session=lightdm-autologin
greeter-session=lightdm-gtk-greeter
user-session=XBMC

/usr/share/xsessions/XBMC.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Name=XBMC
Comment=This session will start XBMC Media Center
Exec=xbmc-standalone
TryExec=xbmc-standalone
Type=Application

I expect you have at some point logged in with htpc into another session. This is either set in AccountsService (access via D-Bus) or in ~htpc/.dmrc.

LightDM always uses the user preference over the configured default.

Can you help with this problem?
