Displaying window managers with NoDisplay=true

Asked by Nelson A. de Oliveira

I am in doubt if it's a minor issue with the desktop file or lightdm.
I have /usr/share/xsessions/awesome.desktop as:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=awesome
Comment=Highly configurable framework window manager
NoDisplay=true
TryExec=awesome
Exec=awesome
Type=Application

Note the "NoDisplay=true" that makes awesome to not be displayed in lightdm.
Should lightdm ignore NoDisplay=true or should this line be removed from the desktop file?
