Login theme being overridden by user theme

Asked by JJO

Hi

Not sure if I'm asking the right area about this, so apologies if I'm wrong. We are using Ubuntu Studio (which uses the Xubuntu desktop and LightDM GTK+ Greeter, I believe) and the greeter theme and wallpaper is being overridden by user settings. The boss is insisting that the login screen has the company wallpaper at login and clean and simple theme. I have tried changing the file path for the wallpaper and theme in the conf files but it always ends up using the user's wallpaper and theme.

Is there a setting somewhere that is telling the greeter to use user's settings? How would I change this setting?

Thanks,

JJ

This was a missing feature that we added recently, so it'll be part of the next release. You can check the bugreport I linked for potential workarounds or wait for the next release (which should happen soonish).
