Need to open diary from V 110

Asked by Robert D. Bowers

I had to change my OS (from Ubuntu to OpenSUSE LEAP 15.2) and found I needed to install Lifeograph and open a diary made under version 110.

I get a message "Selected Diary is in an older format which is not compatible with this version of Lifeograph."

Is there some way to 'trick' Lifeograph 2.02 so I can open the file (and save it in an appropriate format)? If not, how can I get the file into a format that can be used? What about a module or short program that would convert older versions to 2.02?

The diary is not encrypted and I can read it in a text editor (I have no need to encrypt it), but it's not arranged in a way to (easily) find certain entries. I don't have lots of free time to try to find the entries I'm looking for, and I would like to be able to make some new entries and use the software.

Thanks!

Bob

Hello,
110 is quite an old version. You need to open the diary in an older version first. The last version capable of opening v110 is Lifeograph 1.6. It will upgrade your diary to v1050 which in turn can be opened in Lifeograph 2.0.

Can you help with this problem?
