Lifeograph

Lifeograph doesn't install on Mint 17

I am unable to install Lifeograph at all on my mint 17 vm machine, have tried installing through the software manager and also going through the terminal, when the installation is done the only trace of lifeograph I can find on the machine are 2 png pictures.

Does Lifeograph not yet work on Mint 17 ?

I believe Mint 17 comes with v1.0.1-1 and you are suffering from the problem reported here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=741594 which is fixed in 1.0.1-2.
Please try opening lifeograph by typing lifeograph into the Alt+F2 window or into a terminal. If that works, you can use the program like that or create a shortcut yourself. That being said, it is strongly recommended to upgrade to v1.1.1 (which is the latest version you can use on Mint 17) but for that you need to build it yourself. It is pretty easy.
