Formatting long text does nothing

I want to format a long paragraph into bold. or italics. or whatever.
I select my paragraph, press the button B for instance and nothing happens..
If the paragraph is pretty small then the formatting is applied. In not, nothing happens.
Is it normal? Can I do anything to fix it?

Yes, please copy my question into Lifeograph:

and press B, then the formatting is applied normally. (I just noticed that).

The first version is not a single paragraph. In Lifeograph formatting cannot extend over multiple paragraphs. This is a limitation in the current implementation. It will be addressed in the future releases.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know that.
Thank you anyway, I'll be waiting for that future release :)
