Numbered lists on the toolbar?

Asked by Vesal Vojdani

Is there any reason you don't have a button for inserting numbered lists? Currently, the numbered list feature is entirely undocumented. It's only mentioned in the release notes of 0.7.2, but it's not stated anywhere how to use it. At least I could not find any instructions about it. Fortunately, your programming logic is very consistent: when I finally just tried some stuff in the diary, I found it almost immediately. You just have to indent (Alt-I) and write "1." or "1)", and it magically auto-increments it for the next line. Great feature, but why isn't it on the toolbar with the two other list modes?

there is a subtle difference between numbered list and other list type: numbers can be typed easily on the keyboard whereas checkboxes and bullets cannot.
This reasoning is of course debatable as there are magic key sequences for both types, namely <tab>* and <tab>[].

Fair enough, but you know, it's not like your toolbar is overcrowded... ;) Still, the magic shortcuts are more important, so I added this information to the documentation on the Wiki.

That's great! Thanks.
I have edited it just to add '-' to the characters of the enumerated lists because it is also possible to go like 1- 2-....
