Tree display date format customization

Asked by Manish Tanvani

Hello,

Thanks for the nice program first of all. This is one reason I might start linux for my personal use and migrate from Windows! ...as im very fond of my personal journals.
I would like to make a small feature request, you may implement it to your discretion - the date displayed on the right side tree structure is like yyyy.mm.dd. Could you please make this customizable to be viewed as dd.mmm.yyyy where mmm is month name like Aug or maybe some other format too (as users in some other countries might not be used to this american system).
Admittedly this is trivial from a technical point of view but since this is a personal journal so viewing month like this will make it more personal.
Well, now im thinking....maybe customizability will introduce complexity.....why not change the current format to yyyy.mmm.dd. I will compromise a bit here if that makes it easier for you and keeps the software simple and uncluttered.

Thanks again for whatever it is currently.
Manish

Edit:
I understand the purpose of this now better.
I can always browse to my entries through the calendar given below. That makes it personal enough.

Im marking this as Solved.

Thanks.
