Is libmodbus-2.0.0 thread safe

I need to run multiple Master threads (one per remote device) and want to make sure that libmodbus will be thread safe.

libmodbus Slave thread-safe-ness could become important in the future so I might as well ask about that.

Yes, libmodbus is thread safe, if you want a slave able to open multiple connections have a look to bandwidth-slave-many-up.c in trunk branch (bzr).
