Can you make a Red Hat (Centos, Suse...) package?

I'm afraid not. We are able to generate Debian and Ubuntu packages because that is what Environment Canada uses internally. We have no access to other distributions. To use libecbufr on other distributions, you will need to compile the source code. Instructions to download the code and compile it can be found in the other FAQs.
