what this script meant for?
is it possible to have an animation in my boot screen i.e after boot.png

1. If you mean the make/distrib script: It is a script I use to package and DISTRIBute LFScript itself. It makes sure no temporary files are packaged with each new revision and ensures all files have appropriate permissions.

2. Yes it is possible. But there is no script in LFScript which will let you do that easily. So, you will have to find an application that provides animated boot screens and configure and install it yourself.

This is not the right place to ask. You can experiment with what is currently in the LFScript source, but there is no easy script.

As I understand, Grub already has some support for boot screens so you could read the Grub documentation. Otherwise, this really is something you will have to figure out for yourself.

Part of the LFS experience is doing things yourself, and while LFScript may automate a big portion of it, personalization is up to you.
