Changing mailing list policy

I've created a mailing list for my project and launchpad displays:
Policy: You must be a team member to subscribe to the team mailing list.
I'd like to allow anyone to subscribe but I haven't found any place to change this policy, is this possible?

You need to change the team's subscription policy. That way anyone can join the team and subsequently subscribe to the team's mailing list.To change the team subscription policy go to: https://edge.launchpad.net/~<team-name>/+edit replacing <team-name> for your team's name.
