Cannot add/change email, weird 'semi-validated' state

Hello!

I have a problem trying to add / change the email address in my account. I've headed up to #launchpad on IRC for help, and had the following discussion: 'ноября' stands for 'on November'.

Continued, it went back to the email setup page. Refreshed it, but the new email didnt showed up. Trying to re-add, but now it goes to an 'oops' error page...

[21:44] <arseny92> maybe this address already has some sort of 'validated' status in the db, as when I added it on the first time, it added fine, though a nearly blank message page with continue and cancel buttons at the top appeared, I clicked continue, got the email, followed the link, but the editemail page didnt updated with the new address and furthermore, it appeared below 'these addresses may be yours',...

[21:51] <barry> arseny92: include all the relevant information you can, the steps you took, what happened in launchpad, the email address you tried to validate
[21:51] <barry> arseny92: this way we have a written record in launchpad for the problem. i will make sure the losas see it and we can turn that into a bug report if/when we find something wrong

We sent an email to that address with instructions on how to confirm that it belongs to you. As soon as we have that confirmation you'll be able to log into Launchpad.

We had some known replication problems copying email addresses from our single sign-on database to the main Launchpad database. We think we've fixed the problem now, but there's about 9 hours worth of data to catch up on. Your validated email address should eventually show up. If it does not by tomorrow, please let me know.

As it was mentioned before, wait for some time and then try again. So

Now I see it doubled. My old email, my new email, and new email again (field double). And when I try to go to the +editemails page to remove the old email and delete the duplicate, it gives (Error ID: OOPS-1431EB1004) immediately after click on the edit button image.

I think we've solved this problem now by deleting the duplicate entry from the auth db. From my looking at

https://edge.launchpad.net/~arseny92

this has now been copied to the main db, so you should be good to go.
