Create FEniCS-Apps project group

Asked by Andy R Terrel

Hello,

I run a repository for projects using the FEniCS project toolset called FEniCS-Apps (http://fenics.org/wiki/FEniCS_Apps). Recently the FEniCS project has started to migrate its development over to Launchpad and it appears that our managed projects need to be moved as well. The FEniCS-Apps repositories is naturally a super group that ties lots of contributed applications together and gives a common place for people to view application codes built on top of the FEniCS core codes. We have a 8 projects that we want to host in Launchpad and hope you will allow us to become a super-project.

Unfortunately I did not read the entire manual before I started playing around with Launchpad and I accidentally created a project FEniCS-Apps. I realize the manual says it cannot be converted into a project group but I was wondering if it would be possible to delete thie project and add it as a project group instead.

Thank you for your time and this great service you provide the open source community.

Hello Andrew,

I have created https://edge.launchpad.net/fenics-group for you. Please note: you can add existing projects to the newly created project group by going to

https://edge.launchpad.net/fenics-group/+edit

and using the "Part of:" control on that page.

I hope this helps.
