Can you remove the old mail list in Asturian LoCoTeam?

Asked by costales

Hi!
The Asturian LoCo Team had this temporal mail list: <email address hidden>
Now, we have the official https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-ast mail list for ubuntu LoCos.

I desactivated the mail list <email address hidden> in Launchpad:
"This team's mailing list has been deactivated."
but it appears yet: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-ast
        "Mailing list
        mail <email address hidden>
Policy: You must be a team member to subscribe to the team mailing list.
        email View archive
        team View subscribers
        Create a mailing list "
Can you remove this entry in Launchpad, please?
Thanks very much!

Hi there,

Have you tried using "Purge this Mailing List" on https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-ast/+mailinglist? Maybe that'll do what you need.

Gavin.

Hi!
This mail list is desactivated.

In this web: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-ast/+mailinglist
only appears:
"This team's mailing list has been deactivated."
And the button: Reactivate this mailing list"

Not appears the button "Purge" :O

Ah, I didn't realise that. Okay, I can do it.

It says:

"You can purge this mailing list so that the team can be merged or
renamed, or so that the mailing list can be re-registered. By
purging this list, you guarantee that there are no artifacts of
this mailing list (such as its persistent archives) that need to be
manually changed, backed up, deleted, or renamed."

Is that okay with you?
