Downloads counter not incementing

The "Downloads" counter on the InfiniDB project is not incrementing (https://launchpad.net/infinidb/+download) despite downloads occuring. I see an entry at https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad-registry/+bug/273265 that looks to have been implemented to support this functionality. Other projects seem to show an actively working downloads counter.

The InfiniDB project is relatively new, which gets me to my question(s). Does the counter only populate once a day/week/month? Is there a temporary period that this doesn't work or new projects? Is there something that I need to do enable the counter? Does this functionality not currently work or is it broken?

The logs are not being transferred for processing at the moment. The admins have been too busy with Karmic release to set up a job to do this automatically. The issue will be fixed next week.
