Can't upload translation

Asked by Luca Livraghi on 2007-06-24

Hi!

I've just translated an application called StartUp-Manager into italian. On the left side of this page https://translations.launchpad.net/startup-manager/trunk/+translations, under the word "Actions", I see a link named "upload translation" (I think it sends my translation to the application's programmers) and I click it. But when I do this, it tells me that I haven't got permission to access on that page. What should I do to upload translation? or it's automatic?

You need to select the language you just translated and then, from that page, select to upload your translation.

The link you followed is for the developers of that application.

In your concrete case, you need to go to https://translations.launchpad.net/startup-manager/trunk/+pots/startup-manager/it/+translate and then, click on 'Upload a file' in the action menu on the left.

Once you upload your file, the system will handle it automatically and will apply your changes in Launchpad and notify you by email whether everything was correct.

Cheers
