project group request + project removal

Asked by Aymeric Mansoux

Dear Launchpad admins,

The Puredyne GNU/Linux live distro project recently switched from Debian to Ubuntu as core system and as a consequence we have been recently testing the Launchpad platform as a replacement for our in-house Trac install. We think we would benefit from a total integration of the project within Launchpad and would keep Trac as mirrored source browser and wiki only.

project information:
http://puredyne.goto10.org

We would like to register a "puredyne" group project, that would combine the following already registered launchpad projects:
 - https://launchpad.net/puredyne-kernel
(more will be added in a near future as we' re breaking down the project in smaller components...)

You can see that https://launchpad.net/puredyne already exists, and you would be kind to delete it. It was registered as a single project when we started to experiment with Launchpad.

Thanks!

We need an admin to rename the puredyne project first.

Here you go:

  https://edge.launchpad.net/puredyne

I renamed the existing project to

  https://edge.launchpad.net/puredyne-orig

I can rename it again to any name you like so you can reuse it for the additional project components, so just let me know. Thanks!

Hello Christian,

Thank you very much for this.

If you could then rename puredyne-orig to puredyne-ify that would be fantastic and could be used right away for one of the components we'll be working on soon.
