How to delete a translation?

Asked by Robin Rawson-Tetley

Hi, I've probably not given this enough time, but I'm waiting on my translations being imported (project sheltermanager)

For some reason, one file was authorised and somehow what should have been the main translation template has become a template with a GB translation (the template itself is GB!). For some reason though, my other translation files haven't been approved, leaving me with a useless translation up.

I set up a bazaar branch containing the translations as a fellow developer with Launchpad experience told me I could bypass the import approval process (which turned out not to be the case).

Is there any chance someone could delete that translation for me and approve the template/translations queued up from my bazaar branch? I'm really excited about the translation facilities in Launchpad and I have a bunch of contributors desparate to get started!

Thanks,

Rob

Oh, and for some reason the .pot file from the bazaar branch didn't queue up, where the .po files did. Not sure what's going on there...

I support this question,

I admire the work done for the Rosetta translations, but the need for a human admin to approve the translations sounds a bit unnecessary to me, cannot be this just automatized ? Why a forge depends on some manual approval?

Thks.

Ok, I think maybe I misunderstood something here - I updated the .pot file on my bazaar branch and that imported within seconds of the commit. I guess I didn't quite get that the template file appears as an untranslated language (that's a little confusing). That's fine then.

I guess all I'm really waiting for is my translation files (the es.po, nl.po, fr.po and lt.po) to be imported from the bazaar branch and approved.

Ok, someone's on the case and I can see things being imported - thanks for sorting this out.
