To change your username we'll need to delete your PPA. Please respond confirming that this is OK, and we'll delete your PPA. Then you'll be able to change your own username.

Steffan Wood suggests this article as an answer to your question:
FAQ #53: “How do I change my Launchpad ID (also known as your account name)?”.

Alas, it would appear we can't change names on accounts with active PPAs at this point in time.
Have linked to the relevant bug report, and will mark this request as "Needs Info Request" to highlight it till the bug actually gets resolved.

Users can delete PPAs now and the user changed his name.

Can you help with this problem?
