Native American Languages

Asked by Joker Wild on 2009-09-09

I don't see a group for translation of Native American Languages I have made a project (group)
https://edge.launchpad.net/~native-americans-languages
I would like to create this set of Languages Cherokee, Cheyenne, Chipewyan, Choctaw, Creek, Dakota, Mohawk, Navajo, Shawnee, and a few others some are not listed.

I am Native American I have had many contacts and others with tribal nations I have spoken in these languages since birth.

I have relatives that speak the languages and also there are still people speaking these today. I have taken linguistic arts in college and I assisted my professor in bringing some of these to light. I also have a couple of others I speak, but not the subject here.

There are some 37 languages and different dialects plus I would like to bring these few and some others to the community.
If possible I need to do something further please give me links to or a way to get these to be added.
