Request more space for PPA

Asked by Philip Johnsson

Before I start doing anything I just want to clear a problem regarding space.

I'm running a ubuntu repo at http://philip.magicalforest.se for the moment that is more of a rolling release repo with apps that I use myself and others that stumbled upon the site and friends of mine of course.

I was planning to move the whole repo to my PPA account here on launchpad but as it is now the limit is 1 Gb and my repo is at the moment 3,5 GB with packages and source tarballs. Is it possible to get around 4 GB of space for a PPA like this on launchpad?

Regards,

Philip

I've increased your PPA's limit to 4Gb.

Thanks, Tom

Arghh, I thought the extra space was tied to my user and not to the PPA it self. I made two different PPAs and would like the PPA named "extra" to be the one with 4 GB of space and not the one named "ppa". It would also be nice if I could get the PPA named "ppa" deleted as I won't use it with that name.

Sorry for the mishap.

Philip,

I have increased the space available for the PPA named "extra" to 4 GB and deactivated your PPA named "ppa".
