Can't add file(s) to bugs

I was asked to add log files to bugs submitted.
When attempting to add the files to the bug, I navigate to the file of interest, 'select' the file using either double-click or using the 'select' button on top-right hand corner. Most of the time neither of these actions results in the file name appearing in the proper field on the web page such that the file would be uploaded to the bug.... The field remains blank, no error message is apparent.
I am using a 'live' ubuntu 24.04.1.
For whatever reason, I *have*, occasionally, seemingly randomly, been able to upload a file (see bug #2089467 - ubuntu-desktop-provision), but am unable to upload *MOST* files attempted.

Hey! Could you be more specific? The problem is that you cannot pick the film from the picker or the upload fails on launchpad ?
