Automatic import of translations into project

Asked by Thea Barnes

Is there any possible way to set up the translations on Launchpad to automatically import new translations *into* the bazaar branch? I already have the template automatically updated *from* it, but I want the submitted translations to go into the branch automatically, so that when a translator adds or modifies a translation it would be committed to the branch automatically. As it currently stands I've found no way to even receive any notification of the addition/update, so if I forget to check the translations page for a while the translator's work goes unnoticed. This seems detrimental to the development process.

Unfortunately, this only allows me to choose one branch, my obsolete 0.1 branch, which the translations aren't even valid for. I want to export them into the trunk branch. Any ideas on why it wouldn't allow any of my other branches?

Okay, I figured it out, though this should probably be a bug. In order to choose the branch I wanted I had to change the owner from being the team to being just me, then set it to export to that branch, then change the owner back to the development team.
