New language: Cantabrian

Asked by uhanu

Hello!

I'd like to add Cantabrian language to translation list.
Cantabrian is regarded by UNESCO as a dialect of Asturian-Leonese, but unlike other Asturian-Leonese dialects (ast, ext, mwl) it has not ISO 639.

It's spoken in northern Spain: Autonomous community of Cantabria and eastern extreme of Asturias.

Is it possible to give language code for Cantabrian: ast@cantabrian or ast@cnt ?

The amount of plural forms for Cantabrian is: 2
And its default plural form expression is: n != 1

Some materials about Cantabrian in English:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantabrian_language
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astur-Leonese_linguistic_group
http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=ast

Best regards,
Ibio Camargo

Unfortunately, no! In order for Launchpad to support a language, it must have an ISO 639 code of its own (and not be part of a "collective" code). Language variants are not supported yet.

Can you help with this problem?
