Please delete nunit-3.0/2.9 series

Asked by Charlie Poole

I decided not to use odd-numbered series for pre-release snapshots but to just put them on trunk. There's no branch associated and I moved all the milestones already, so please delete it.

As the owner of the project, you should be able to delete the series yourself. the delete action is the trash icon next the series heading on https://launchpad.net/nunit-3.0/2.9.

Nope... it won't do it. Got an OOPS (OOPS-1298B1901) and it's still showing there even though I also got 4 or 5 boxed messages saying it was deleted.

Well that is bad. If you got an oops, so will an administrator. There is definitely a bug in the code; I see what needs to be done.

The problem appears to be that there are still blueprints targeted to the series. You fixed the milestones, but blueprints can be (and are) directly targeted to the series. All the blueprints listed on this page

    https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/nunit-3.0/2.9

Show "Series goal: Accepted for 2.9" You need to set the Series goal to None or to another series. Series targeting is not needed in your case since you have milestones.

The OOPS is a bug, but you should be able to delete the series if you unassign all its blueprints first.

I'm marking this question solved, since I've opened bug 402769 for it.
