Account Lost All Info

Asked by Skewray

I just got back into Launchpad after being out of the country for a few weeks. First, my account address changed from launchpad.net/~ubuntu-skewray/ to lauchpad.net/~ubuntu-skewray-com, and the old web address does not work. The new account shows no attached bugs. Karma is zero. The creation date is shown as today. My location is not set. My SSH key is missing.

What's up?

This account looks like it has already been fixed, most likely as part of the bulk fixes for similarly affected accounts.

Hi Skewray,

Login to your new Launchpad ID ubuntu-skewray.

Please go to your old account with the link http://www.lauchpad.net/~ubuntu-skewray-com and click on the link asking 'Are you Skewray?'. Then in the Duplicated Account text box in the page to which it is redirected, give your new Launchpad ID, i.e., ubuntu-skewray.

Then you will get a mail to the old Launchpad account tagged email ID with an authentication link. Click on that link the do the required to authenticate the email.

Once you've proven that you own the duplicated account's e-mail address, it will be assigned to you, along with everything else owned by it.

I think it may help your requirement. This will merge your unaccessible account with the new account and retain data as well

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Skewray for more information if necessary.
