obsolete-junk not getting deleted

Asked by Kenneth Loafman

I deleted a series in https://code.launchpad.net/duplicity that I did not want and it came back as 'obsolete-junk...'. When I say to delete something, I really mean for it to be deleted. How do I get rid of this nonsense?

There's no way to delete a series because of all the things that may be linked to it. Maybe we could make it clear in the UI that the series won't actually be deleted, but we can't actually delete them.

OK, so now I have 3 'stable' series, 2 as obsolete-junk, 1 as the real
trunk. Is there any way to mark the obsolete-junk as 'abandoned' or
something so they won't show up on the same page?

I guess you found them before I got back to you. Thanks for the help. They're gone now.
