I have a problem with import my new translation file

Asked by Alexey Sannikov

Hello!
I can't import my edited translation file into "FreeNAS" (https://translations.launchpad.net/freenas) project.
Here (https://translations.launchpad.net/freenas/+imports) I see:

* ru_RU.UTF8.po in freenas Series: trunk
* Uploaded by Alexey Sannikov on 2009-06-22 18:40:49 CEST
* Will be imported into Russian (ru) translation of freenas in freenas trunk
and status
* Failed
without any reason.

Why?

Thanks.
BR, Alexey.

I believe you hit instance of bug 381645 (which is now fixed). But, I don't see your file in the import queue anymore, have you perhaps re-uploaded it since?

Anyway, just reuploading should make it work now.

Thank you very much!

I know why this problem occured.

I can't change here https://translations.launchpad.net/freenas/trunk/+pots/freenas/ru/768/+translate the "Login" word to one of existing or new
(for example,
Packaged: Вход
                     Translated by lifeslice on 2007-04-05
).

I see errors every time:

> Oops!
> Sorry, something just went wrong in Launchpad.
> We’ve recorded what happened, and we’ll fix it as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.
> (Error ID: OOPS-1273F668)

or

> Oops!
> Sorry, something just went wrong in Launchpad.
> We’ve recorded what happened, and we’ll fix it as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.
> (Error ID: OOPS-1273F670)

or some different.

If I upload the translation file with this changed field, I have previous (from first post) error

(status
* Failed
).

Thanks,
BR, Alexey
