Please Expose Bug Mail Subscriptions To The API

I was attempting to subscribe to bug mail for all packages maintained by a specific person. After being told that there was no easy way for this to be done on the Launchpad side, I was advised to create a script to do it. However, the Launchpad API is currently unable to view or modify bug mail subscription information. As a result, I was unable to use the API to accomplish this task. I was told that I should create a question on answers.launchpad.net requesting that the bug mail subscription information be exposed to the API. Thanks.
