Source code for remote issue tracking system monitoring

Asked by Sandro Tosi

Hello,
I saw on [1] you are able to track remote/upstream issue tracking systems.

In Debian we have a similar system, bts-link[2]. We would like to know if the source code for that part of launchpad is available and if you can point us to it, so that we can share source code/ideas.

Alternatively, if it's still closed source, this would translate as a request to open-source it.

Thanks a lot for your collaboration and understanding,
Sandro (on behalf of bts-link team)

Launchpad is being open-sourced soon, please see http://dev.launchpad.net/OpenSourcing. When it is opened, that code will be available under the AGPLv3.

(Note that the client side -- the remote-tracker side -- of this system consists of plugins which are already open source, because the remote tracker installs them in order for Launchpad to talk to it. See:

and

I opened a paren and forgot to close it, in the previous comment. As a programmer, I have to do something about that.)

Can you help with this problem?
