please remove the https://edge.launchpad.net/~motumedia-tauware-merged team

Asked by Reinhard Tartler

While updating bug subscriptions, I noticed that there are 2 MOTUMedia
teams:

https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mplayer-skins/ is supervised
by two teams atm:

https://edge.launchpad.net/~motumedia-tauware-merged
and
https://edge.launchpad.net/~motumedia

the latter is correct, the first one even 404's

I assume that there is some DB inconsistency or something. could someone
please cleanup this?

This seems related to https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/3571, btw.

The team reappeared again. Ideas how that can happen?

the ffmpeg package in ubuntu is subscribed to https://edge.launchpad.net/~motumedia-tauware-merged, but that team has no page?

The merge process does not unsubscribe the old entity, though it is not active. We are creating a process that will clean up deactivated accounts and projects.

Well, but the old team is still available for subscription. In fact, I am presented 2 MOTU Media Teams, and I'm always unsure which of the two to choose.

Curtis, is there a bug for that that we could link this question to?

The team is merged. Merge and deactivate do not remove subscriptions, which is the issue here. The bug is already being tracked.

Can you help with this problem?
